“La Colline aux rêves” literally means “The Hill of Dreams” — a beautiful house where you are invited to dream.
Since meeting in 1986, Marie and Bruno had dreamed of a pretty house perched on the hillside, a place where everyone would be welcomed for who they are, in all their uniqueness and richness. After a life devoted to their family and to creating cultural experiences for all — especially for children — Marie and Bruno are now opening the doors of their hilltop home to you. A lovely white house at the top of a rounded hill, with exceptional views, hiking trails, lakes, mountains and a swimming pool… A place where lovers, couples and families can quietly share their wishes and dreams.

Le Grand Balcon is a peaceful and intimate room, ideal for couples or for solo travellers looking for calm, comfort and beautiful views. Designed as a quiet retreat, it combines a cosy atmosphere with vintage mountain-inspired decor, warm colours and a lovely sense of privacy. The room opens onto a large panoramic terrace, a true extension of the living space, where guests can read in the shade, enjoy a morning coffee or simply take in the breathtaking 180° view over the Chartreuse mountains. Inside, the room offers a comfortable double bed, a private bathroom with shower and toilet, and a dressing area that adds both convenience and charm. From sunrise at the foot of the bed to peaceful evenings under the stars, Le Grand Balcon is a place to slow down, breathe and savour the beauty of the hillside.
Chambre Grandes Vacances
"Grandes Vacances" is a bright and spacious room designed for comfort, freedom and easy family stays. With its generous proportions, vintage summer decor inspired by lakes, sunshine and the southern side of the mountains, it offers a cheerful and relaxing atmosphere for couples as well as small families. The room can be arranged with a large double bed or twin beds, and it can also accommodate one or two children with extra bedding on request. One of its most charming features is the balcony, which leads directly to the pool by an outside staircase, allowing guests to move freely between the room, the garden and the swimming area. The large private bathroom, complete with a bathtub, makes it especially pleasant after a day of hiking, swimming or exploring the lakes and mountains nearby. Airy, practical and welcoming, Grandes Vacances is a lovely choice for guests seeking both relaxation and a sense of holiday freedom.

Whether you are a couple or a large family, we offer two rooms to suit your stay.
One is a romantic room, with the sunrise at the foot of the bed and a private terrace. The other is a family room, with a spacious bathroom and a balcony. A five-person suite combining both rooms will also be available.

Shaped by a childhood in Brittany, Marie’s guest table offers generous homemade cooking, prepared with fresh produce from the garden and local suppliers. Dinner is a time for meeting, sharing and enjoying the simple, authentic flavours of our Savoy region.

Since meeting in 1986, we have shared a dream: one day, to create a home on a hillside — a place that feels open, alive and deeply welcoming. A home to be shared, a home where people can simply feel good. In 2025, we walked 900 kilometres along the Camino de Santiago, and the people we met along the way made a lasting impression on us through their kindness, sincerity and humanity. It is very much in that spirit that we welcome our guests today: every visit feels like a gift.

Our professional lives have always been shaped by a love of children, culture and shared beauty. Bruno, a consultant and trainer in tourism and culture, creates discovery experiences across France. After 17 years in teaching, Marie developed workshops and guided visits for school groups and very young children in museums and cultural venues.
In 2016, the house on the hill became both an obvious choice and a precious gift: a place for family gatherings, celebrations, long meals and shared laughter. The walls and garden still carry the memory of those moments, as well as the dream of a home open to creativity and connection.
Today, by choosing a slower and more intentional way of life, we are giving that dream a new form: to welcome each person in their uniqueness and to offer simple, gentle and convivial moments in a place filled with warmth, beauty and soul.
